Common questions
About our Vancouver painting estimates
- How long does it take to get a painting estimate in Vancouver?
- We deliver firm quotes within 48 business hours of the walkthrough for most projects. Larger or multi-room scopes may take an additional day so the product systems and schedule can be mapped precisely. Every quote is written, line-itemed, and locked before any work is scheduled.
- Is the Vancouver painting estimate actually free?
- Yes. The consultation, walkthrough, and written quote are all free. There is no obligation to book after receiving your quote. If the scope or timing is not right for your project, we would rather tell you upfront than take a job we cannot do well.
- What information do you need for an accurate painting quote?
- We need the address, a rough scope description (which rooms or surfaces), your target timeline, and any photos that show substrate condition. During the in-home walkthrough we measure every surface, document prep requirements, and review finish preferences so the final quote reflects the actual home.
- Do your painting estimates include prep work?
- Yes. Prep is the single biggest factor in finish longevity, so every quote details exactly what substrate preparation is included: hole filling, sanding, caulking, primer selection, moisture testing, and any surface-specific remediation. If it is not in the quote, it is not in the scope.
- How far in advance should I request a painting estimate?
- For exterior work, request your estimate in February or March for a summer start. Our June through September calendar often fills by April. Interior and cabinet work can typically be scheduled within 3 to 6 weeks year-round. Winter interior slots (November through February) are easier to book last minute.
